Pokemon Tournament

Pokemon Tournament

Postby Knuckles » Sun Jul 25, 2010 12:09 am

Does anyone know if there will be room in the schedule for this? if at all possible, i'd like to run this (or help run). i know last year's tournament got a little out of whack with the wifi at the Drawbridge being unreadable by the DS, and i'd like to organize it a little better with this known fact. anyone know how to go about getting this done or have any suggestions?

I could donate a WiFi Router for LAN only use to do this. I don't use it anymore, and it's sitting in a drawer collecting dust might as well get some use out of it.

That would be great to use since wifi at the drawbridge doesn't support the DS or DSi.. i figure most people would be using Heart Gold or Soul Silver.. they have better settings to even out the levels, but even so, there are those that don't have it. i'd also like for a trading session to happen.

It's a Linksys B/G Wireless router, but I don't know if the DS/DSi will work with it as I do not own a DS/DSi if you know just shoot me a PM when it get's close and I can help work out some details for it's limited time use.

it should work as to my knowledge. i use the samet thing, they just have to be set to where they are DS/DSi compatiable, which the wifi at the drawbridge is not

I'll have my netbook with me so I should be able to patch it to work if need be.

Hey there. I was the guy running the panel last year with the tournament. I sent in a request already to see if can do it again this year. It was terrible last year, but I have been working on making it better. No more last minute planning. XD

Well, whatever happens, I'd like to work together to make this happen. I played quite a few matches last year and had a great time.
