What was your first anime?

Mine was Sailor Moon. I think I was 6 or 7 when I first saw it.

Technically it was DBZ, only because my cousin watched it and I had nothing better to do. For the longest time I hated anime then 2 summers ago I found Naruto, Bleach and FMA. Naruto was the one that REALLY got me into the anime world

Definitely Pokemon. Also the Sonic the Hedgehog OVA and Sonic X (Japanese version, I went online to watch it every day after school. It was before the English version.)

BUT I had no idea they were called "anime" back then. I started getting into the anime genre from Angelic Layer and Tokyo Mew Mew back in 2005. xD

My first REAL Anime where I had an understanding of what I was watching was Shaman King.

Probably Sailor Moon or Dragon Ball Z. As a dude Sailor Moon didn't really appeal to me, but I recall the ending of a lot of episodes since Beast Wars came on soon after. Dragon Ball Z I caught bits of before the Cartoon Network/Toonami years.

Well, my first technical anime was Sailor Moon and Pokemon.
When I actually started to understand what anime was, it was Trigun. <3 Along with some Cowboy Bebop and Big O.
